It is important that you as a client consider the following before hiring a coach:

  1. What qualities are required of a coach?
  2. Can anybody be a coach?
  3. Are all coaches suitable for the goal I wish to achieve?

Think about the qualities, values, attitudes, and attributes of an ideal coach vs your ideal coach. Goes without saying results factor heavily in this too however, this can be sub-categorised under qualities. Achieving the goal of getting clients results is a fine quality indeed.
